1-Minute Air Fryer Donuts (Printable)

Fluffy, golden donut treats made from biscuit dough, air-fried and coated in cinnamon sugar for a quick delight.

# Ingredient List:

→ Donuts

01 - 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
02 - Nonstick cooking spray

→ Cinnamon Sugar Coating

03 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar (100 g)
04 - 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
05 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (60 g)

# How-To Steps:

01 - Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
02 - Separate biscuit dough into 8 pieces and cut a 1 inch diameter hole from the center of each to form donut shapes. Reserve cutouts for donut holes if desired.
03 - Lightly spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
04 - Arrange donuts in a single layer in the basket (cook in batches if necessary). Air fry for 3 to 4 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and puffed.
05 - While the donuts cook, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a shallow bowl.
06 - Brush the hot donuts with melted butter on all sides, then toss thoroughly in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat evenly.
07 - Serve the donuts warm. Repeat the process with remaining donuts and donut holes.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • They taste like donut shop treats but take literally nine minutes from start to finish
  • The air fryer makes them fluffy inside without all that oil from frying
02 -
  • Dont skip preheating the air fryer or the donuts come out dense instead of puffed and light
  • Coat them the second they come out or the sugar wont stick properly
03 -
  • Work quickly once the donuts come out because the sugar only sticks while theyre hot
  • The donut holes cook faster so check them after 2 minutes to avoid burning
